The study of the Holy Scriptures is a life-time task for followers of Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “ All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”
Hope currently offers several weekly opportunities for Bible Study:
Children & Youth
Sunday School: PK3 through 5th Grade. Meets in Rooms 214-218. We are using the "Simply Loved" curriculum from Group Publishing. "Simply Loved" strategically gives kids a Christ-centered, foundational journey through God's story of love. Each quarter explores Biblical truths from the Old and New Testaments.
Confirmation: Level 1 - Old Testament; Level 2 - New Testament; Level 3 - Luther's Small Catechism (Confirmation meets from 9:45 to 10:45 am in rooms 101-103.)
High School Bible Study: 9th-12th Grade. Our senior high group is studying the book of Romans this fall with an emphasis on different ways to study the Bible in general.
Come dig in and find the style that works best for your growth!
We meet in the youth room, 9:45-10:45.
Young Adult Bible Study: Led by Therese Huning. This late teen/early 20 somethings group provides both fellowship and Bible study for high school seniors as well as those in college or just entering the work force. Whether you are staying local or only coming to town occasionally, you're always welcome to join!
We meet in the youth room office, 9:45-10:45.
Adults

Waiting: A Bible Study on Patience, Hope, and Trust by Sharla Fritz
Led by Carol Sauer, Meets in Room 104
"This study focuses on the lives of eight biblical women who waited and yearned and ached. The study highlights principles that make these times more bearable, and maybe more meaningful, even if it feels like God isn't present or there's nothing we can do."
Chosen: A Study of Esther by Donna Snow Led by Terri Wenzel, Meets in Room 219
"This Bible study from Donna Snow will show you how God is ever-present in your life, no matter the circumstances. With discussion questions at the end of each session, you can dig into this fascinating book of the Bible to start seeing God's presence in His seeming absence, and how He is constantly using you to propel His plan for creation forward."
Men's Ministry Bible Class - Lutheran Doctrine and Practice Today
Led by Scott Butler, Meets in Room 220
Adult Bible Study - Lecture Series on the Book of Job Led by Chris Riggs, Meets in Room 221
