The study of the Holy Scriptures is a life-time task for followers of Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “ All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”
Hope currently offers several weekly opportunities for Bible Study:
Children & Youth
Sunday School: PK3 through 5th Grade. Meets in Rooms 214-218. We are using the "Simply Loved" curriculum from Group Publishing. "Simply Loved" strategically gives kids a Christ-centered, foundational journey through God's story of love. Each quarter explores Biblical truths from the Old and New Testaments.
Confirmation: Level 1 - Old Testament; Level 2 - New Testament; Level 3 - Luther's Small Catechism (Confirmation meets from 9:45 to 10:45 am in rooms 101-103.)
High School Bible Study: 9th-12th Grade. Senior High Bible study focuses on exploring God in the everyday hurdles, triumphs and what-in-the-world was that of high school. Join us Sunday mornings to navigate life from a faith perspective. We meet in the youth room, 9:45-10:45.

Parents of Young Adults Bible Study - To Be Clear by Walt Swaim

"Post-truth is not a flash-in-the-pan political sound bite or temporary fad in the pop culture language of the day. It is the basis of the world we live in daily. It is the way reality is perceived and presented now and for the foreseeable future. It is the foundation from which ideas, concepts, philosophies, policies, rules, laws, and behavior are shaped and demonstrated in our modern society...We will offer a critique of its consequential damaging effects, especially when it comes to the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ."
Study Series Group led by Pastor Jon - Paul's Epistle to the Ephesians. This class is focused on an in-depth study of the Sriptures and the Faith. We study in a slow and methodical manner - taking time to explore all the details. There is plenty of room for discussion and comment by the group.
