High School & Adults

Sanctuary Choir: The Sanctuary Choir meets at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evenings. This choir serves in worship 1-3 times a month and in festival worship services. We welcome singers from Jr. high school through adults.  Music reading skills are helpful, but no entrance test is given.  Join for the activity year or just “for a season”.

Hope Brass: Hope Brass is an integral part of Sunday worship. These musicians bring high praise and excellence to the worship serve as they assist with liturgies, hymns and special music. Hope Brass meets on Tuesday evenings. in the Sanctuary. They participate in worship 1-2 times a month and in festival worship services.

Woodwinds & Strings: Hope's woodwinds and string ensemble enriches our worship life by playing about once a month in worship, assisting with liturgies and hymns. They also provide attendant instrumental music. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings in the Sanctuary.  We also arrange other rehearsal times as the need arises.

Vesper Bell Choir: This group meets on Tuesdays at 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary. 

This is our intermediate to advanced bell choir and is for ringers with some bell playing experience and some music reading skills.

Celebration Bell Choir:  This is our entry level Hand Bell group.  In the past they have met on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm or Sundays at 12:30 PM in the Sanctuary.  As we consider restarting this group let the music director know what time works for you.

Hand Bell Quartet:  Hope forms a Hand Bell Quartet from time to time.  They play in worship and sometimes take their musical message out into the community, playing at senior facilities and community events.

Children

Children’s Choir and Chimes meets on Wednesdays from 5:15-6:00 PM.  We meet on Wednesdays from 5:15-6:00 PM from September to May.  Afterwards families could participate in the Mosaic meal and possibly the Mosaic activities after that. 

Kids in PreK-1st grade meet in their Sunday School room for singing and ringing with Miss Penny.  Kids in Grades 2-8 meet in the Music Library for singing and ringing with Michael Kesar.
